Parents in a Wyoming school district are outraged that an answer on a multiple choice test included this option: “Shooting at Trump.”
The first question on a quiz posted online by a Jackson Hole High School teacher asked what the occasion was in which “Napoleon has the gun fired.”
Here are the four choices:
- “He was shooting at Trump” is listed as the first choice of four, according to the quiz. The 3 other questions in this strangely worded multiple choice quiz are
- His birthday
- For completion of the windmill
- To scare off the attackers of Animal Farm
If people following the news wonder where the violent behavior of Antifa, or Black Lives Matter, or Occupy Wall Street originates, look no further than our schools. If NFL views wonder where football players learn to disrespect the Flag and the National Anthem, they need look no further than college curricula where America is considered a racist oppressive bigoted country with no saving virtues. This is the gift of educational ingrates for all of the generosity, freedom, goodness and liberty bestowed by Old Glory and American Exceptionalism.
Angry parents complained to Teton County school district officials, and the quiz has been taken down.
“I had to read it two times,” parent Jim McCollum said, according to the Jackson Hole News and Guide. “I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?'”
District officials said they learned about the quiz Thursday and called the Trump answer “inappropriate.” They are now “investigating and verifying the information.”
Officials added they “take seriously threats of any kind, regardless of the intent. We apologize to the students, families and community for this incident and will be addressing the issue with personnel.”
The question should be why the teacher felt free to offer “Shooting at Trump” (not even President Trump) as an option on that ridiculous quiz.
